DE-Mail: So ein Mist? – Nein, aber …

Von allen Seiten wird DE-Mail derzeit kritisiert: Anwälte, Notare, Stiftung Warentest, … und in diversen Blogs kommt es auch nicht gut weg. Trotzdem, die Voranmeldungen sind – trotz noch fehlender Rechtsgrundlage – bereits bei mehr als einer Million, und das ist wahrlich nicht schlecht.

Trotzdem verstummt die Kritik nicht:

Nicht nur hinsichtlich umständlicher Anmeldung und des hohen Preises wegen, sondern auch massive Datenschutzbedenken wurden angemeldet. Außerdem ist DE-Mail auch nur in Deutschland anwendbar. – Daher, was tun, wenn man ein Email sicher und verschlüsselt über die Grenze senden möchte?

Opolis Secure Mail (http://www.opolis.eu) ist eine solche Alternative: Diesen Dienst gibt es bereits, er kann mehr als DE-Mail und ist gratis noch dazu!

Anders als bei DE-Mail bleiben bei Opolis Nachrichten vom Zeitpunkt des Absendens bis zum Eintreffen beim Empfänger jederzeit und durchgehend verschlüsselt. Die Anwendung der Public-Private-Key Technologie stellt dabei sicher, dass die verschlüsselten Nachrichten nur vom autorisierten Empfänger gelesen werden, und sonst niemand.

Auch weitere Opolis Funktionen finden sich bei DE-Mail nicht: Vor Absenden entscheidet der Autor einer Nachricht, ob der Empfänger diese sodann kopieren, drucken, darauf antworten oder sie weiterleiten darf. Wenn der Absender dies verbiete, so ist dies auch nicht möglich. Damit wird absolut sichergestellt, dass Nachrichten und deren Inhalte unter keinen Umständen an nicht autorisierte Dritte gelangen.

Natürlich kann der Absender auch jederzeit laufend beobachten, wann eine Nachricht empfangen und auch wie sie weiter verarbeitet wurde (sofern erlaubt). Opolis erlaubt unbegrenzte Speicherung von Nachrichten und Dokumenten und hat ein – ausreichendes – 125MB Limit für die Übertragung von Dokumenten oder Fotos.

Die Architektur von Opolis beruht auf einem in sich abgeschlossenem Server-System, auf welches mit dem Opolis Mail Client zugriffen werden kann, welcher sowohl auf Windows wie auch Apple aufgesetzt werden kann und von der Opolis Website geladen wird. Jeder kann sich elektronisch anmelden (dauert etwa 5 Minuten); einzige Voraussetzung ist die Bekanntgabe einer Email Adresse.

An analysis of sports media usage by adults. $49.99 The problem was an analysis of sports media usage of adult attendees of the Virtual Sports Employment Fair, March 18-19, 2009, online through the company, Expos2. It was determined this is the first time that virtual online technology was used to contact subjects for an academic study. Although the survey itself was disseminated via virtual marketing software, the initial and all subsequent interaction with the subjects was done completely online using Expos2 software. A two-page questionnaire of 40 questions was developed to determine what sports media adults use on a regular basis, with what frequency these are used and if there was a consideration of content and gender. A pilot study was conducted with 20 adults ages 18 and older to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. Changes were made to the survey based on the results of the pilot study and recommendations by a panel of experts. The subjects were volunteers who agreed to be part of the study for a small incentive. All the subjects were attendees of the Virtual Sports Employment Fair, held March 18-19, 2009. The survey was uploaded to a subscription-based virtual marketing company, Constant Contact, and the names of all the attendees of the Virtual Sports Employment Fair were entered into the e-mail database. An e-mail request to complete the survey was sent to all attendees of the Fair at least twice during the event and again the following weekend. Of the 162 attendees that registered, 123 had active accounts, and 40 voluntarily participated in the study. The data supplied from the 40 surveys was collected and entered into SPSS 15.0 analysis software. The researcher was unable to draw any statistically significant differences between the usage habits of older and younger adults, men and women and education levels.
